  3. she saved all these pictures and thoughts from then and we could picture her and see what it was like and she did a great job. / We can learn more about the people in the earlier days because without it we wouldn't know about all of our ancestors and past.

  5. I love how her family and her were so positive through the VERY negitive times. She kept her dreams alive, instead of letting the fade away in the dark days in hiding. She is also only 13 years old and being cut off from the world, and can still see the wrong and hurt that is happening.

  8. Anne's writings teach us what it was like to go into hiding. She also taught to follow your dreams even if you are shut off from the rest of the world. Even though she was forced to go into hiding, she kept her dreams of writing alive.

  11. Anne did a wonderful job keeping track of what happened daily. Her photos and writing gave us so much insight on what happened while she was alive. readers and watchers who have studied about Anne Frank will never forget what powerful words she wrote and always remember what she went through and be thankful for what they have now. I think that her story will impact anyone and everyone who hears it.

  18. Great Mrs. Gorman! Just great! You ruined the end of the book for me! Hmph! Well first I have to look up the word legacy, give me a sec....... K here it is. Her writings have been passed down and read over and over again and they have become an inspiration to many. I beleive that Anne was a very smart and wise girl and people will continue to learn from her wisdom and writings.

  19. She has become a lasting legacy because of the courage she showed by even making a diary and that she hide from the germans. A very big impact because it shows how kids can have alot of courage and bravary to.

  20. she was such a great writer, and people now and in the future will be able to understand her thoughts and feelings while she was dealing with situations that seem almost unreal to us today.

  21. her writing at 14 was amazing. it will teach people to have a positive attitude and hopfully stop us from whining because ther are people who are going through much worse than us.

  22. I could say that it was because "Anne was a great writer", that she left such a lasting legacy, but that has already been said at least six times before me. And I really think it was more than that. It was not because of how well Anne wrote, but because of what she actually wrote about and the emotion behind her words that reflected on her spirit. In the video, it was mentioned that the Jews were encouraged to keep journals, diaries, and letters, so that later the world could see what they endured. We can guess that Anne was not the only one that did this, but her writings were unique. She didn't write solely about how they were being mistreated and how miserable everyone was, but about every part of her life, from what her family said, to her own hopes and dreams. That is why her writings, among many, are known throughout the world.

  23. Annes journal writings have already affected so many " I know they have Affected me" . Anne was and amazing and talented wrighter she was very much her own and knew exactly what to say and when to say it. I think that people will always look up to Anne as a type of leader. She was never to be scared or afraid and always seemed to have made the best come out of what ever situation she was in. Her journal I quote "Although I'm only fourteen, I know quite well what I want, I know who is right and who is wrong, I have my own ideas and principles, and although it may sound pretty mad from an adolescent, I feel more of a person than a child, I feel quite independent of anyone." This Gives me the hint of insporation that any given situation I am put in I can have my own point of view my own response and be my own person. She ( Anne) Had many hopes and dream way along ahead of her I know that As long As human kind is alive we will all charish and keep Annes thoughts and feelins a part of our lives. She to me is An insporation that everyone should look after.

  24. Anne's writings taught us all to perservere through anything that tries to stop you from living your life. Even while she was in hiding, she tried to always have a good attitude about anything, and always brought out the positive in the negative. She is an inspiration to all.

  25. Her writings were so discriptive, that you can almost picture what they were going through. has additude was always so postive. She taught us a lesson that all of us could learn.

  26. Because every thing that she did in her life she wrote down in her writings. I think that they will last forever and tell us a lot about what happened in her life.

  27. Anne's writings taught us all a very important lesson and to always look on the bright side of your situation. Anne's writings have affected so many people, including me. I think her writings are such a legacy because she was a great writer and they really explained her feelings. They also said a description of the Annex and that can really put a picture in your mind and how life really was in the Annex. I think her writings were very descriptive and they really spoke her feelings. I think the impact that her writings have had on us is that it makes us really apreciate how grateful we are to have what we have today. I think that her writings will continue to have an impact on the people of the future. You have to live life one day at a time.

  28. Anne's writing's have a true purity writen within them, as I read through her trials and tribulations I understand how hard life was for her. The passion alone that she expresses beneath her words mirrors he spirit. In the depths of her writings you can feel what she felt alomost to the extent of feelig like you are actually there. Her magnificent approach to the situation she was in insprires use to imitade her attitude.

There is also the fact that she kept up her hopes and dreams when most would fail to do so. Most may not understand why Anne's writings were chosen among many others, but I believe Anne's writing's echo the condition of the time and also intale of how she fought through the misery. That is why Anne's writing's have such phonomenal impact on humankind today!

  30. It showed tons of people what it was like to be in hiding and has turned her name into one of the most recognized names in the world.

  31. Today, most everyone knows about Anne Frank, the Holocaust, and Hitler. Everyone you'd ask would say it was a terrible and cruel time in history; and in every history book it will give you dates and facts about the Holocaust and the concentration camps. But, Anne's diary was different. It not only told us the history about this nightmare, but it gave us true and pure emotion. I'm so glad that Anne's diary was made public, because if it wasn't we couldn't possibly fathom the pain and emotion from that time. Her diary also gave us a point of view from a young girl back then. Although her and her family weren't sent to the camps and tortured, they had another kind of torture inside being trapped for many years. In all, Anne was very talented and noble to write with such emotion, and her diary has impacted many of us, because it truly helps us understand the suffering her family must have felt.

  32. I agree with Emily. A lot of people know about the holocaust and about what a horrible time it was. Anne's diary was a personal diary, you can probably relate more to it than just a history book.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think many people are inspired by the diary. She somehow manages to keep her spirits up despite the horrible situation. It teaches us that attitude is one of the most important ways to get through tough times.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well her diary is showing what she had to go through like a history book. when we read it showsso many emotions that it dosnet bore us like a history book.

    ReplyDelete
  35. it shows being positive can help a negetive situation

    ReplyDelete
  36. it shows that something that you care about may be still going on after you

    ReplyDelete
  37. She was soooo brave that she could write while all the jews in her erea were being takein.

    ReplyDelete
  38. It means that her story will always be told. I think she affects the way we feel about the Holocaust. She makes the victims real... and shows just how horrible it all was. I think she'll live on as a great writer relevant enough for us to relate to her and remind us of the horrors of the Holocaust now and forever.

    ReplyDelete
  39. It is her lasting legacy because she explained in grave detail exactly the way a Holocaust Jew lived. It is so horrible that Jews were treated this way.

People will admire her work in the future as well. They will see her standpoint and understand what life was like for Jews during the Holocaust. It might also teach future generations to come a lesson- how to be kind to all.

  40. I think that she became so famous because she was put in one of the worst situations anyone could be in, haveing to be in hiding and worrying all the time about being split up from the people that you love, and keeping such a possitive attitude during such a hard time. She should be an insperation to everyone because she did not let the toughest time in her life bring her down, and we shouldn't let the little things that we think are hard bring us down or give up on them.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think it was smart of her to write what she was going through. That let us know what she and her family were going through,

    ReplyDelete
  42. It might be because she was such a good wrighter, but I think it is because her story is so realistic that we could not imagine actually being in that possition.
